Slide Rule Math Help Center
Answer

Who Can Use It:
Open to students in Pre‑Calculus, Trigonometry, and Calculus I & II. No appointment or fee required—just walk in and get help working through assignments and practice problems.
When & Where:
Located in the southeastern corner of the 3rd floor of Devereaux Library, right across from the Makerspace.
Hours:
-
Monday–Thursday: 10 am – 6 pm
-
Friday: 10 am – 4 pm

(Sunday hours may be posted via the main tutoring page) sdsmt.edu.
Why It Matters:
Mathematics is a foundational component across all engineering and science majors at Mines. Slide Rule is meant to help you build confidence, develop problem‑solving skills, and engage actively in your learning—because, as the center says, “the only way to learn mathematics is to do mathematics.”
